Grants

2019:

The AMR Artists (a/k/a AMR – Andes, Margaretville, Roxbury – Open Studios Tour) wrote and awarded Delaware County Department of Economic Development Tourism Advisory Board Marketing Grant for AMR Artists 2019 three events.

2018-2019:

Program Manager for Head Start Arts Program for Preschoolers 2019  Catskill Mountain Artisans Guild, wrote and awarded  both the NYS Council on the Arts Decentralization Grant-Arts Education (as administered by the Roxbury Arts Group) and The O’Connor Foundation matching funds Grant to present this program in six of Delaware Opportunities, Inc.-Head Start sites for Spring and for Fall 2019.

2018:

Program Manager for Head Start Pilot, Arts & Crafts for Preschoolers Catskill Mountain Artisans Guild, wrote and awarded The O’Connor Foundation Youth Programming Grant to pilot an Arts Program for Preschoolers in Delaware Opportunities, Inc.-Arkville Head Start, two classroom site in Spring 2018.

“Early Steps Curriculum Grades Pre-School-Five” — research, development, and delivery of this new curriculum to address the issue of preschoolers needing to learn appropriate social behaviors and to develop language skills for expressing emotions. This curriculum is aligned with NYS Standards for Learning, and was piloted in four schools and five preschools. Key funding: NYS Senators Charles Cook and John Bonacic, and Delaware County Department of Social Services.
