1 Kings 18, v. 41-46 tells of the amazing story of Elijah warning King Ahab of the impending end of a lengthy drought (“for there is a sound of rushing rain”) and Elijah then telling his servant to go to the sea seven times to look for a cloud.  “And at the seventh time he [the servant] said, “behold, a little cloud like a man’s hand is rising out of the sea”.
