This marks an important direction and purpose for my artwork:  Creating scriptural based banners and tapestries.

Each item and text are rooted in the Old and New Testaments, such as the Ephod of the 12 tribes of Israel on the Chalice, the crown at the base of the Chalice, the top text from John 15:1 (and its being in an arc refers to God’s rainbow in  Genesis 9:12-17), and the bottom text from the Passover Blessing over the First Cup.
