ROCK/HEAVY, (c) 2016, Tapestry, Autobiographical, 23″w x 19″h

The alternative name for this tapestry is “HEAVY” as evidenced by the cracked grey foreground and the ominous red background.  It points to my eagerness to be retired by Thanksgiving Weekend 2016.  I knew exactly what I want to do during the next 25-30 years of my life — tapestry weaving, and couldn’t wait to get to that chapter.
