This small tapestry is based on my “Eve/Self-Portrait” (c) 1995 lithograph colored with pastels, and shown with a detail photograph of the top leaf.
I am Eve, yet Eve is every woman. We all eat the forbidden fruit and then pay the consequences. That which is pleasing to the eye, is bitter to the tongue.
