INRI (c) 2022, Tapestry, Scripture, 14″w x 25″l + fringe
This tapestry, which alternatively is called “Squeezed Heart”, represents Jesus’s Crucifixion. The red wool was chosen specifically for its bleeding color ability. Yet, in spite of the blood drops, there are tiny gold knots which represent God’s mercy.
