Sunset (c) 1985 Tapestry, Catskill Views, 31″w x 14″h SOLD
“Sunset” was woven in three separate tapestries: one was sold at the MURAL Gallery Exhibit “Catskills Impressions”, one was given as a gift, and this last one was sold at the Headwaters Arts Center Exhibit “The Bold and The Beautiful”.
Here is what the new owner says: “My son Ken, from Washington State was here for 2 weeks, and he and I and grandson Benji were at your open house, right after you left..the snowy night. 3 generations appreciating your work and Liza’s. We all love Sunset and felt the colors of the mountain were spot on….” She later added that she was ‘just noticing how your sun work that is hanging on my fireplace is so bright — on this dark day.”
