Lily Pond  (c) 2025 Tapestry, Catskill Views, 25″ w x 21″h, $3,500 + s/h

This tapestry was inspired by a series of photographs I took on a East Branch Delaware River Plein Air Painters’ outting in Andes, NY.  What makes this tapestry special is that the husband was quite ill, so different from the vibrant gentleman (in the true sense of the word) I had known years earlier.  His wife handled all their details.   Thus, this tapestry’s flow of water between lily pads and bulrushes meets the theme Sanctuary, as presented by the Woodstock Artists Association & Museum’s 2025 open call for art.
